Anomid Winding Varnish | Electric Motor Insulating Varnish with 240°C Thermal Resistance
Anomid Winding Varnish is an advanced electrical insulating varnish based on saturated polyurethane resin (Saturated Polyurethane), formulated from high-purity organic and inorganic chemical compounds. It creates a glossy, uniform coating with exceptional adhesion, providing mechanical stabilization of windings while enhancing both thermal and electrical resistance.
With a thermal resistance of up to 240°C, this varnish is ideal for high-load motors and heavy industrial applications.
Key Features
Extremely high thermal resistance up to 240°C
Fast initial drying in 10 minutes
Full curing in 1–3 hours at 25°C
Exceptional adhesion to copper and enameled wires
Enhanced dielectric strength
Excellent penetration into winding layers
Mechanical stabilization of wires, reducing vibration
Protection against moisture, dust, and industrial contaminants
Suitable for AC and DC systems
Applications
Anomid Winding Varnish is used for insulating and impregnating wound electrical components such as dynamos, heavy-duty industrial motors, high-temperature motors, transformers, armatures, industrial coils, and AC/DC wound equipment.
Technical Properties
The varnish is suitable for both AC and DC systems. It dries initially within 10 minutes and achieves full curing in 1 to 3 hours at 25°C. The resin base is saturated polyurethane, providing both electrical insulation and mechanical stabilization of windings, with thermal resistance up to 240°C.
Preparation and Thinning
Dilute the contents of the container with Thinner 1124 to the appropriate ratio and mix thoroughly until the desired viscosity is achieved. The dilution ratio may vary depending on the application method (immersion, injection, or brush).
Application Method
Pour a sufficient amount of varnish over the winding.
Fully immerse the component in the varnish container.
Use a brush to coat sensitive or hard-to-reach areas.
Allow to dry at ambient temperature (25°C).
For faster processing, a controlled industrial drying oven can be used.
Advantages
Prevents short circuits and electrical discharge
Increases mechanical strength of windings
Extends motor life under high-temperature conditions
Reduces maintenance and production downtime
Improves operational efficiency and equipment safety
Why Choose Anomid Winding Varnish
In industrial applications where motors operate under high thermal stress, selecting an insulating varnish with the proper thermal class is critical. Anomid Winding Varnish, with 240°C thermal resistance, ensures stable performance under harsh operating conditions and is a reliable choice for motor manufacturers, professional repair technicians, and heavy industries.
